On October 26, the Symposium on Innovation and Development of Biomaterials and Medical Devices was held in Beijing. The meeting exchanged biomaterials medical device product research and development, application and other situations, focusing on the field of innovation and development of common problems, discuss targeted support initiatives. Xu Jinghe, member of the party group and deputy director of the State Drug Administration, attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that biomaterials medical devices is an important area of high-quality development of medical devices. The State Drug Administration will be in accordance with the Party Central Committee, the State Council decision-making and deployment, to further study the product quality supervision of the whole life cycle of the reform initiatives, and continue to improve the review and approval system system, to promote the industry-academia-medicine-research and management of the synergistic force, to guide enterprises to play the role of the main body of scientific and technological innovation, to fulfill the main responsibility for quality and safety, and to promote the high-quality development of biomaterials and medical devices innovation.

Relevant ministries and commissions of the State Council, medical institutions and scientific research institutions, medical device industry associations, Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu Province (city) Drug Administration and 12 enterprise representatives attended the meeting.
