October 14th is the World Standards Day, medical device standards for high-quality development of the exchange will be held in Beijing. Lei Ping, member of the party group and deputy director of the State Drug Administration, attended and delivered a speech.

The meeting pointed out that medical device standards provide scientific guidance and technical support for the scientific supervision of the whole life cycle of products and the development of industrial standardization and innovation. In recent years, the State Drug Administration to accelerate the construction of international standards, with Chinese characteristics, scientific and advanced medical device standard system, the standard technical level and internationalization significantly improve the standard in ensuring safety, promote the development of the supporting role of more prominent. The number of medical device standards in China exceeded 2,000, and the standardization of medical devices has reached a new level.

The meeting said that the State Drug Administration will use high standards to strengthen the foundation of medical device supervision and high-quality development of the industry, and play a better role in supporting and leading the standards in promoting the construction of a strong and healthy China.
